I was in the mood for Mediterranean food so I found this wonderful place on Yelp. I had the vegetarian combo (which I highly recommend!) and my mom had the chicken kebab plate. I especially loved the hummus, falafel, and rice. Everything tasted so fresh and made with quality ingredients.
I also recommend the Greek coffee and baklava--they go together deliciously! We will definitely be back. This place is a gem and the owner is extremely friendly and kind. Thank you Gio! -

Food is terrible. Wasn't fresh nor hot. Place is filthy. So many good Mediterranean restaurants around. This one is unsanitary. -

Must try!!! Food is great and presentation is good.
Ordered chicken and beef kabob...delicious. Combo comes with salad ( which to my surprise, taste so good) yummy hummus and warm soft pita bread. -

Gio's is a spacious and clean restaurant that gives generous portions. They plate their food very nicely, and all of it looks so colorful. But that's it. The food looked a lot better than it tasted for me. Flavors were all very mild.
It was pretty empty on a Saturday so the food came out quick. We ordered:
- Chicken shawarma plate: the chicken was very dry & a little bland. I ate it with a lot of garlic sauce for taste.
- 1/2 lule kabob + 1/2 veggie kabob plate: the lule was good but really dry. The veggie kabob was good only with garlic sauce.
- Dolma/stuffed grape leaves: good & worth a try. For me, it was the only decent item out of the three.
I'll note that the hummus & house salad that comes in the entrees were really good and fresh. However the rice, though mixed with chopped parsley (my FAVE) was SO bland and dry.
Service was okay... I told the folks here that it was my first time. I appreciated that the guy gave me some recommendations, but the woman kept rushing me to order. "So what do you want? So what are you going to order? What are you ordering? What do you want?"
I'm all for supporting local businesses & I tried my best to love this place ... I might return to try their food in the restaurant and not via take out. -

Soooo, soooo Good!! Let me just start by saying that! The flavor of the meats (kabobs)are out of this world Great!! And it is true, the food is very fresh. My family and I have never had anything bad here, it's always AMAZING!! And the people are very friendly . Very clean place to sit and eat or take the food to go they still make the plate beautiful and plenty of food! Definitely recommend!
